Trattoria Viviano restaurant celebrates completion of renovations
WARWICK — Almost 10 years since it first opened, the popular Trattoria Viviano restaurant, located at 100 Main St., in the Village of Warwick, has completed renovations to accomplish a much needed expansion.
The object of the work was to provide more dining space and significantly more bar space.
On May 8, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners chef Vito and Rose Viviano, their relatives, staff and friends, for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the project.
"Since our opening in April of 2009," said Vito Viviano, "we have enjoyed not only a healthy business adventure, but more importantly a cornucopia of new friends made through our valued patrons. Not too long after our opening, we realized we were hard pressed for more dining space and significantly more bar space. Hence, our planning began to provide the additional space with one priority, to better serve our clients. And after much work and quite a few challenges we invite everyone to come visit and enjoy the space we have created for you."
Rose Viviano added, "Whether you are here to dine in our beautiful landmark building, want to enjoy a cocktail by yourself, or with friends while enjoying this remarkable village which we have grown to love, come and visit us. We are here for you and will never stop striving to make you more comfortable in our dining rooms, patio or our beautiful new bar. We thank you for the patronage and the welcoming attitude since 2009."
Trattoria Viviano, which specializes in rustic Italian cuisine, is open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 to 10 p.m. for dinner.
The restaurant is closed Sundays except for holidays and private parties.
