TPS community outreach

Last week, Sterling Forest’s Trinity Aptekarev joined 25 of her classmates from the Tuxedo Park School, assisting and cheering on Special Olympics participants, an annual tradition at the school. On skis and on foot, they were stationed alongside the alpine skiing and snowboarding courses where they cheered for all of the athletes by clanging cowbells, shouting encouragement and congratulating them as they crossed the finish line. Tuxedo Park School finds more than one way to reach out to the larger community. This Saturday marks the beginning of another month-long session of Saturday Enrichment courses offered at the school from 9 a.m. to noon, classes including Chinese, yoga, Spanish, app creation and guitar.
