TNT Burger now open for business

WARWICK — On Saturday, Jan. 16, the long awaited TNT Burger restaurant at 62 Galloway Road opened its doors.

An official grand-opening ceremony is also planned for the spring to celebrate the opening of an outdoor patio.

Owners Todd and Kristy Rosen, who live in the community, felt there was a need in Warwick for a place where everyone, especially families and youngsters, could come in, grab a quick bite and hang out while playing games and listening to music in a casual environment.

The musical entertainment, by the way, comes from a high-tech version of the traditional jukebox and there is also a music stage to feature local artists.

An added bonus for the community is that the company currently provides part-time employment for 25 Warwick Valley High School students in addition to its full time staff.

Rosen boasts that his restaurant serves the best burgers and shakes in town.

"We love burgers," said Todd Rosen. "Whenever possible, we use all-natural and local ingredients. It's the right thing to do and it just tastes better. And at TNT Burger, our 'Custom Creation Burger,' makes you master of your own universe with fresh ingredients to create an eternity of great burgers. There are no two alike."

The extensive menu features the TNT double burger with a special sauce served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle.

Other items include a variety of hot dogs, side dishes and ice cream sundaes along with drinks like traditional egg cream and root beer float sodas. Rosen's previous business background includes owning and operating an ice cream café.

TNT Burger also offers take-out and accepts phone orders.

The restaurant hours are subject to change at this early stage but TNT is currently open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
