Tickets on sale for Warwick’s 26th Annual Duck Derby
WARWICK — Warwick’s annual Duck Derby, a popular fund-raising event sponsored by Winslow Therapeutic Center, will take place, rain or shine, on Sunday, May 15.
Tickets are now on sale for the race and proceeds will be divided equally between Winslow and other not-for-profit organizations that help market the tickets. Organizations and clubs are invited to participate.
Winslow Therapeutic Center is a not-for-profit organization offering therapeutic horseback riding healing programs for children and adults.
Anyone new to this area may wonder what the “Duck Derby” is all about.
On the day of the race hundreds of adults and children will be crowding the bridges or running along the banks of Wawayanda Creek in the downtown area of the Village of Warwick. Most will have “adopted” one or more of thousands of rubber ducks, each bearing the number that corresponds with the $5 ticket they purchased.

• Second: X-Box One sponsored by Vogel & Moore Insurance, Warwick.
• Third: Samsung 32” TV sponsored by Friends of Winslow.
• Fourth: Dell Laptop Computer sponsored by Bonni Masi Oswald State Farm Insurance, Warwick.
• Fifth: GoPro – sponsored by CLC Transportation, Mt. Kisco.
• Sixth: Four tickets to a New York show sponsored by WTBQ, Orange County Radio.
• Seventh: Fitbit Charge, sponsored by NY Nerds of New York City.
• Eighth: Warwick Valley Farmers Market basket, sponsored by the market vendors.
