The annual Thanksgiving dinner for members of the Warwick Valley VFW was held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Goodwill Hook and Ladder Firehouse in Warwick. Twenty-five young people, from the St. Stephen the First Martyr CCD classes and the Warwick Little League, first served the veterans all the fixings of what was described as an outstanding and bountiful holiday meal, and then joined them at the tables for dinner and conversations. The young people also serenaded the veterans with the song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." They also wished veteran Charlie Comdsen "Happy Birthday" in song. He just turned 94.
