WARWICK — The children and parishioners of St. Stephen Parish participated in the Catholic Charities food drive, "Feeding Our Neighbors" campaign, last week.

The campaign was an Archdiocesan-wide effort to replenish food pantries, Catholic and non-Catholic alike.

Seventh-grade students at St. Stephen- St. Edward School delivered more than 500 pounds of non-perishable food to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry by the as a culmination of their efforts to celebrate Catholic Schools Week as a "Community of Faith, Knowledge and Service."

Children of the parish school were awarded a "pajama day" if they brought in either a canned soup or breakfast item.

Other food staples were brought in during the week by students of the religious education program or by parishioners who attended weekend Mass.
