— Soho Salon owner Sal Viola had a vision to bring a little bit of "Soho" to Warwick and that became a reality in the late fall of last year.
On Friday, April 8, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Viola and his staff at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Soho Salon's fourth location, at 11 First St.

A Davines Concept salon
Soho Salon of Warwick prides itself as being a Davines Concept salon, using all naturally derived plant based hair color, hair care and styling products.
The styling team includes national educators, Fashion Week stylists and represents a host of certifications from their artistic careers with Bumble & Bumble, Aveda, Arrojo and Davines.
Patrons are also invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and other refreshments.
"We are truly proud to represent a manufacturer that supports its local farming industry and prioritizes sustainability, a zero carbon footprint, and 'farm-to-shower' ingredients that take good care of the body as well as the environment," said Manager Jodie Kyvik. "We would also like the community to know that we are happy to host and display local artwork in our waiting area for a month at a time."
Kyvik explained that the artwork must be mounted or framed, and not exceed 30 inches in width, and not weigh more than 30 pounds.
"If there are any artists in the community who would like their work shown, please have them stop by the salon Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ask for me. I'll set up a time to see the work and discuss which month they can be hung."
