On Saturday, May 18, an Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held for Shea Gormley by Troop 477 of Greenwood Lake.
The ceremony was held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is the charter organization for the troop.
Eagle Scout Shea Gormley is the son of Unateresa and Sam Gormley.
He has just completed his freshmen year at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. Conn., where he is majoring in business and communications.
For his Eagle Project, Shea planned, helped design and led the construction of three large park benches with planters, which Troop 447 Scoutmaster Jason Fox described as "great additions to Ben Winstanley Park in the Village of Greenwood Lake."
