WARWICK — On Friday, Dec. 21, Schervier Pavilion residents and staff members gathered together to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season.

The staff prepared a buffet table complete with holiday treats, punch and other refreshments. Santa paid a visit and Kevin Curry, one of the residents’ most popular singers, was on hand to sing Christmas songs and other favorites.

“We publish a calendar every month that’s filled with interesting and entertaining things to do throughout the day as well as some evenings,” said Kari Call, a certified therapy recreation specialist and director of recreation. “And we always seize the opportunity to celebrate holidays and seasonal events. Therapeutic recreation is essential to the quality of life and the quality of care of individuals receiving health and human services at our facility.”
