Orange County League honors scholar–athletes Eleni Wechsler and Grant Parrelli

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School seniors Eleni Wechsler and Grant Parrelli were recognized earlier this week as OCIAA Scholar-Athletes.

They were among 30 student-athletes from Orange and Sullivan counties honored at the Orange County League’s annual scholar-athlete breakfast for their accomplishments on the playing fields and in the classroom.

Eleni Wechsler
Eleni is a standout softball player for the Lady Wildcats and will attend the University of Rochester next fall where she will major in pre-medical studies and biology.

She will graduate from Warwick this June with a grade point average of 98.48.

Grant Parrelli
Grant is a top cross country, indoor and outdoor track athlete who will continue his studies at Xavier University this fall on academic and athletic scholarship. He will also major in pre-med studies and biology.

Grant will graduate with a weighted GPA of 102.29 and ranks third in the class.
