New Real Estate office opens in Warwick

WARWICK — On Wednesday, Oct. 17, public officials and members of the Warwick business community joined Deborah Blankfort, Broker/Owner of Baer & McIntosh Real Estate and Associate Broker Sandy Glazman for the grand opening of the Nyack firm’s Warwick office.

The new Real Estate office, William Raveis Baer & McIntosh, is located in an historic Victorian building at 12 Maple Ave., formally the home of Claudia Vicaro Real Estate.

In September 2011, Chris Raveis, president of William Raveis Affiliates, announced the alliance of William Raveis Real Estate with Baer & McIntosh Real Estate, an independent agency in Nyack.

The Nyack agency, still independently owned and operated by Baer & McIntosh, represents the seventh William Raveis location in New York since the company began its expansion. William Raveis Baer & McIntosh exclusively services Rockland and Orange counties.

Deborah Blankfort, Broker/Owner of Baer & McIntosh, made the decision in June 2012 to open a second office in Orange County.

“Opening in Warwick made a lot of sense to us because it’s a natural gateway to and from Nyack,” said Blankfort. “Many times, buyers come through our Nyack doors from New York City, looking for a change, or starting their home search. Buyers often find that expanding their search to Orange County enables them to find and afford their dream home.”
