Middletown. WK Mechanical offers free service calls to teachers

Any teacher in Orange County who is having a problem with their heating or cooling system is invited to call WK Mechanical during May for a free service call as a way for the company to say thank you for stepping up during the COVID-19 crisis.

“My family wants to recognize the hidden heroes during this pandemic – our children’s teachers,” said second-generation owner Stephen Conforti.

Since the social distancing recommendations were laid out, WK Mechanical has been helping those in need, from offering to shop and deliver groceries and prescriptions to the seniors in our community, to donating HVAC filters to health-care workers, to this month’s offer to teachers.
