These are the food items collected by the Warwick Ambulance Junior Corp at QuickChek in the Village of Florida and donated to the Florida Food Pantry.
In December, the Warwick Ambulance Junior Corp volunteered in Wreaths Across America at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen. The Junior Corp gave a $300 donation to purchase 30 wreaths to be placed on veterans' graves. The Junior Corp member Olivia Maylor stands amidst the graves and wreaths.
The Warwick Ambulance Junior Corp Kids did some great things this holiday season. Here's a look at those contributions to the community.
On Nov. 23, the Junior Corp held their annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive.
The kids collected non-perishable food items and monetary donations (which were later used to purchase food items) for the Warwick and Florida Food pantries.
The food donations collected at ShopRite in Warwick amounted to $900 while the amount collected at QuickChek in Florida totalled $400. Many thanks to all customers who so graciously gave in order to make this a success. Special Thank You to Shop Rite and QuickChek for allowing the Junior Corp to occupy both storefronts.
Then on Dec. 14, the Junior Corp volunteered in Wreaths Across America at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
