WARWICK — A conversation centering on “Warwick in a Day Gone By” will be held Tuesday, June 23, beginning at 7 p.m. at the A.W. Buckbee Center.
Warwick Historical Society Curator Michael Bertolini and Dr. Richard Hull, Town Historian, will give those present an opportunity to travel back in history through their conversational tone, knowledge and expertise.
"Letting go of the formality of a lecture, these two distinguished historians will express different dimensions of Warwick’s transformations in the last quarter of the 19th century," Sharon V. Knol, executive director, said in announcing the event. "Together, they will talk informally about architecture, the arts, fashion, quality of life, the economy, health, education, religion and the environment.
"At the end of the evening we will have a snapshot of Warwick in a day gone by," she added.
There is no charge for members of the historical society; $20 for non-members.
