GOSHEN — A special presentation on the Legoland amusement park proposed for Goshen will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at the Emergency Services Center, 22 Wells Farm Road, Goshen.
Merlin Entertainments, the British corporation that wants to build the park, will outline "initial project details" before the Goshen Town Board.
The park would be a major attraction, and is expected to attract more than a million visitors a year, according to County Executive Steve Neuhaus. This would be the third Legoland park in the United States, with the other two located in California and Florida. Merlin says they're Europe’s number one and the world’s second-largest visitor attraction operator.
