Janice Brigante Design Studio and Boutique celebrates official grand opening
WARWICK — Janice Brigante says that she always loved the beautiful Hudson Valley and decided to put down roots in Warwick where she found the perfect space to create and share her designs.
And meeting so many talented artisans in the area inspired her to also start the Warwick Handmade Market, a grassroots collaborative effort to allow local crafters an opportunity to sell their creations together in one open space at a monthly indoor market.
On Friday, Feb. 3, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Brigante, her family, friends, clients and associates to celebrate the official grand opening of Janice Brigante Women's Clothing Design Studio and Boutique on the second floor at 7 West St., just off Main Street in the Village of Warwick.
'Original designs'At the same time the firm announced "Style With Love " a collection of handcrafted, unique and versatile women's clothing and accessories along with the "Emerald Aisle Restyle " collection.
"These are original designs that bring the essence of elegance and fun to your wardrobe," said Brigante. "And the Emerald Aisle Restyle collection is another product which is one-of-a kind up-styled women's eveningwear."
You can find both collections at the Design Studio and Boutique.
Hours are by appointment and posted weekly on the door.
Passion for fashionAnd the Warwick Handmade Market is held at the studio every second Sunday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Having had a successful career as a fashion designer in New York City and a desire to explore," said Brigante, "I was led to many foreign lands. Traveling throughout the world I was inspired by local cultures, fabrics and trends. My passion for fashion and design is stronger than ever and it has inspired me to start creating works to sell directly to the community."
