Yes and no. Windows in envelopes and staples are okay, but items like credit cards, laminated paper, and stickers/labels and the backing sheets they come on cannot be recycled. The general rule for paper, said local recycling coordinator Ermin Siljkovic, is: “if you can rip it, you can recycle it,” as long as it is not food-soiled.
