On October 3rd a memorial service was held at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, NY for William (Bill) J Kraham. Service was officiated by Legion Chaplain Father Robert Sweeney. Bill was 77 years old from from Warwick, and formerly of Greenwood Lake. He was a member of Greenwood Lake Post 1443 Arthur Finnegan American Legion Post. The Legion formed a color guard with members standing on the sidewalk of the entrance to the church. The service ended outside on the street with a bagpiper playing and a bugle player playing “Taps.” The American flag was folded in front of the Legion color guard and presented to his widow Barbara. After the funeral a luncheon was held at the American Legion. Photo by Ed Bailey.
