Greenwood Lake Elementary School honored local veterans by hosting a breakfast and a virtual Veterans Day ceremony at American Legion Post 1443.
Principal Dianne Connolly worked alongside teachers to create a video that captured their appreciation for our armed forces through song, pictures and even a first-hand look at one current soldier’s experience.
In addition, they decorated the Legion’s main hall and left thank you letters for veterans on the tables.
