Goshen. Visitors are invited to meet the animals and bring home a pumpkin
Iron Horse Sanctuary, is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit home to mules, horses, goats, pigs, cats and whatever whose goal is to provide a long-term, consistent, safe and loving space in Orange County.
The large animal rescue, located at 2155 Route 17A in Goshen, is now having its very first fall Pumpkin Picking Festival.
The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is $25 per person (big or small). Visitors are invited to come and meet the animals, tour the barns, take a wagon ride up to the top of the farm and go pumpkin-picking (one pumpkin per person).
Masks will be required at all times and everyone must wear closed toed shoes. No open toed shoes allowed.
While there you can meet Pearl the pig, the goats and some of the amazing Iron Horses.
Pony rides, hot apple cider and apple cider donuts will be available for purchase.
