At these events, citizens can come out and speak with Hoovler, his staff and investigators about issues involving law enforcement in their communities. The District Attorney will provide coffee, bagels and pastries for all who attend.
The sessions are as follows:
Thursday, Sept. 21: Empire Diner in Monroe
Tuesday, Oct. 3: Alexis Diner in Newburgh
Thursday, Oct. 12: Goshen Plaza Diner in Goshen
Thursday, Oct. 19: The Colonial Diner in Middletown.
All sessions are between 8 and 9 a.m.
“Year after year, ‘Coffee with the DA’ has become a great opportunity to meet with members of the community to discuss issues we all have on our mind,” Hoovler said in the press release announcing the latest dates. “I look forward to meeting with the public so they can hear from me my thoughts on issues in criminal justice and law enforcement. The coffee and snacks are on me, so please stop by one of the sessions and give me your thoughts.”
