Galleria to hold back to school bash, supply drive

Galleria at Crystal Run will be hosting a Back to School Bash and school supply drive on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 12 to 3 p.m. Stop by for music, giveaways and to enter for a chance to win a variety of prizes. Guests who bring school supplies for the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club Back-to-School drive will be entered to win gift cards from participating retailers. Thunder 102 will be live in Center Court in front of Round 1 Bowling & Amusement with the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club.

Food & Fire BBQ Taphouse and 110 Grill will be offering alternative ways for guests to support the Boys & Girls Club’s mission. Guests who dine at 110 Grill can mention the Boys & Girls Club fundraiser and a portion of the proceeds from the meal will go directly to the Boys & Girls Club as part of their 110 Cares Program. Food & Fire BBQ Taphouse will be hosting a BBQ chicken fundraiser. The BBQ chicken entrée is available for pre-order or as a grab and go option and a portion of each meal sold will benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

“Every summer, the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club coordinates with host sites to collect backpacks and school supplies to distributes to families before the school year kicks off! Thanks to donations from our community members, we filled more than 230 backpacks with necessary school supplies in 2023,” said Sophie Samul, development and communications manager at the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club. “We are so excited to be a part of this year’s Back to School Bash. Big thanks to the Galleria at Crystal Run, 98.3 WSUL, and Thunder 102 for helping us spread the word this year and to Food & Fire BBQ and 110 Grill for generously supporting our ongoing efforts.”
