
Tyler Fleury provided the musical entertainment to help open this year’s Florida Farmers Market. Tyler is in the 7th grade at S.S. Seward Institute and plays both the piano and guitar as well as sings. He belongs to a local theatre company and is on the Ninja Team at Orange County Sports club. Provided photo.
The Florida Farmers Market opened Tuesday, June 27, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The market, located on Route 17A across from the Dollar Store, is held every Tuesday 10a.m. to 4 p.m.
The ribbon cutters were Mayor Daniel Harter, Trustee Alyssa Werner, Orange County Legislator Paul Ruszkiewicz (District 3), Jan Jansen, president of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Robert Scott, the chambers’ vice president, and Mary Coleman.
