The Albert Wisner Public Library invites the community to join them on May 1 for a musical celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day.

The Uncle Brothers, Tommy Gardner with Barry Wiesenfeld, will be performing a virtual Earth Day Concert for the community which will be available on the Library’s website (albertwisnerlibrary.org), premiering at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

This concert is perfect for kids of all ages and of course, adults.

Those who have experienced an Uncle Brother’s show know that they are very interactive, including dancing and singing along. This very special show will be a bit different, featuring songs about taking care of each other and our great planet and how we can do our part to be more 'green'. Tommy's original songs including "Only You Can Change the World," "One," "When We're Happy We Laugh," "Live Today" and more will be featured. He also has written additional lyrics to songs you may know, such as "The Unicorn (Green Version)," "We Got the World in Our Hands," and "Green Machine (Rattlin Bog)."

Tommy will also be premiering a brand-new song for kids called, "Wash Your Hands," with each verse designed to be about 20 seconds long so kids can learn it and sing as they as they wash their hands.

This special Uncle Brother’s performance will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m. on May 1 on the library’s website, albertwisnerlibrary.org. No registration is required.

The concert is made possible by a gift to the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation by Glenn P. Susan D. Dickes.
