Diva Dog Pet Boutique and Barkery celebrates opening at new location
WARWICK — Diva Dog Pet Boutique & Barkery, originally located at 11 First St. in the Village of Warwick, has moved to 16 Railroad Ave.
On Wednesday, July 27, Mayor Michael Newhard, Deputy Mayor and Orange County Legislator Barry Cheney and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owner Francesca Pou and her family to celebrate the store's grand opening at its new location.
Diva Dog Pet Boutique & Barkery specializes in handmade products for all breeds of dogs and natural treats and foods along with unique and chic dog products, including bakery items, collars, leads, bowls, clothing and beds.
"The move from First Street to Railroad Ave has been a dream come true for us," said Pou. "We were able to take a blank canvas and turn it into the perfect representation of who we are and what we stand for here at Diva Dog Pet Boutique & Barkery."
When you first walk in you are greeted by the fresh baked smell from a gourmet treat display.
Pou explained that the treats are brought in fresh from their baker on a weekly basis.
And you will then see the expanded collar display.
"As most people know, " she said, "we make all of the collars, leashes, harnesses, and doggie seatbelts here on site. We have over 1,000 prints to choose from and with the large store front we were able to expand our design studio and bring the custom collar design process to a whole new level. We can't wait for people to come and check it out."
Diva Dog Pet Boutique & Barkery offers top of the line pet products for both dogs and cats.
"We promise to only sell healthy and safe products that we have 100 per cent faith in and have tried in our own pets," added Pou. "We want to become a staple for Warwick families and their pets and I think we can do just that in our new location. So please stop in with or without your pets anytime. We are always happy to see you."
Diva Dog Pet Boutique & Barkery is open every day except Mondays. For additional information, visit Facebook or call 674-2600.
