Community Showcase raffle winner

On Monday, March 9, Michael Johndrow, executive director of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, presented a check for $1,000 to Warwick resident Peggy Gavan, the winner of this year's Community Showcase raffle. Pictured from left to right are: Chamber Office Manager Sarah Armand, Gavan and Johndrow. Gavan said one of the reasons she and her husband Joe Ebler attended the event was "to pick up the prize I won last week in WTBQ's daily radio contest. I just seem to be very lucky with raffle tickets. In the past seven or eight years, I've won two $1.000 raffles, a $500 raffle, a $100 raffle and a $200 raffle. But I've never won the lottery."
