Community invited to ‘Stand Together to Remember’

    GOSHEN — Aug. 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, and in the spirit of the day, the Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Council will be holding a candlelight remembrance ceremony called “Stand Together to Remember.”
    The ADAC, along with Friends of Recovery Orange, is inviting the community to come together to honor those we have lost to overdose and those still battling the disease of addiction.
    The event is free to the public and will take place at the Village Square in Goshen from 7 to 8 p.m.
