Middle school students, grades 6-8, in New York State are invited to enter the We All Live in a Watershed contest, to learn about the watersheds they live in and how to conserve and protect these resources. Students may use any type of media, including watercolor, pen and ink, crayon, chalk, and markers, to create original hand-drawn artwork. Fourteen winning posters will be chosen and compiled for distribution as part of a 2021 calendar. The contest is being sponsored by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the New York Water Environment Association. One student per poster may enter. Posters must be received by Friday, Jan. 10, 2020. For more information visit dec.ny.gov/education/32108.html.
