Anytime Fitness 24-hour gym hosts grand opening
WARWICK — It's been a long construction process but Anytime Fitness of Warwick is up and running.
On Monday, March 7, Town of Warwick Deputy Supervisor James Gerstner, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined the Klein family, owners of Anytime Fitness, and their staff for an official grand opening.
The 9000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility, at 62 Galloway Road (Route 17A), across from the Park Avenue School ball field, serves as the most recent home of the six Anytime Fitness clubs owned by one family from Monroe.
The extended family will be operating the Warwick club and all will be involved in management and personal training as well as teaching group classes.
Anytime fitness, the largest co-ed franchise in the world, offers 24/7 usage as well as reciprocal usage for all members with more than 3,000 clubs worldwide.
"After a long wait," said Gary Klein, "we are thrilled that the wait is over and the club is open to serve the Warwick community. We are so happy to be a part of the Warwick community and are here to change lives which is our mission."
He recommended that all members attach their key fob to whatever key chain they keep with them because they are actually members in more than 3,000 clubs.
"We are a family run business," added Klein, "and all of the family are not only owners but also personal trainers and group class instructors."
Anytime Fitness offers group classes ranging from Zumba to boot camp, spin , hip hop and yoga. All classes are included in all types of memberships.
