Anita Volpe promoted to vice president, patient care services at St. Anthony Community Hospital
WARWICK — Anita Volpe, MHA, BSN, CCRN, NEA-BC, has been promoted to vice president, Patient Care Services/CNE at St. Anthony Community Hospital.
Volpe has been acting as interim vice president of Patient Services at St. Anthony Community Hospital for the past six months.
She has been dedicated to serving Bon Secours Charity Health System for the last 14 years.
Along with her interim appointment, she was the Nurse Manager for the Medical Surgical Department, Orthopedic Unit and Outpatient Wound Care.
Volpe began her time with the Bon Secours Charity Health System as the nursing supervisor at the Schervier Pavilion.
Before joining Bon Secours, she was the Assistant Nurse Manager Medical ICU (MICU) at New York Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center for six years, where she was responsible for daily clinical coordination along with professional development, staffing and mentoring.
Volpe is in the process of earning her DNP from Capella University and received her Master in Health Administration at Ashford University, Clinton, IA. She completed the Nurse Executive Board Certification Program in 2014 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University.
