Angels in waiting

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School seniors Bridget Scheinert and Caroline Seeberg recently organized a supply drive for Angels in Waiting Dog Rescue in Warwick.

Angels in Waiting Rescue is a volunteer-run rescue that finds foster and permanent homes for dogs who have been abandoned or are in danger of being euthanized.

Bridget and Caroline raised several hundred dollars and collected gently used crates, towels, blankets and dog supplies for the rescue.

This was a one-time project for the two high school seniors who coordinated this through the Warwick Valley High School Community Service coordinators; however, Angels in Waiting Rescue is always interested in new donations, volunteers, and foster families.

Most of the foster families are located in or around Warwick, but some are as far away as Manhattan.
