Library to share its ‘Vision for a 21st Century Library' in July

    WARWICK-The Board of Trustees of Albert Wisner Public Library will host a program, "Enriching Our Community, Expanding Your World, Our Vision for a 21st Century Library," on Wednesday, July 13. The event will take place rain or shine, 6:30-8:30 p.m., "Under the Tent" at Lewis Park. Peck's Liquors and Pamela's Traveling Feast will present wine and hors d'oeuvres. Jazz musician and Warwick resident James Emery will provide music. Attire is casual. "The Albert Wisner Public Library is an integral part of our community's tapestry," said Donna Applegate, Library Board President. "We have an extraordinary opportunity to create a 21st century library in Warwick, but we need the community's support. This program will inform the Warwick community of our long term plans and goals for the future and build support for the library our community needs." Joanne Graney, owner of Greetings & Salutations, is serving as event chair with Patricia Kiley as honorary chair. Committee members include: Lara Blair, Jennifer Lamb Hewitt, Nancy Jahn, Susan Metzger, Carol Mezzetti, Andrea Newkirk, Terry Quint, Erin Rice-Mills, Suzanne Rupp, Deanne Singer and Jane Spiegel.
