    The Foundation at St. Anthony Community Hospital hosts program on May 18 on skin care Vernon, n.j. — “The Skinny on Skin,” an event that highlights everything a woman needs to know to take care of and love the skin she’s in, will take place on Wednesday, May 18, at 6 p.m. at Minerals Resort at Crystal Springs in Vernon, N.J. This is the latest in the Woman’s Journey series sponsored by The Foundation at St. Anthony Community Hospital and the Warwick Healthcare Campus. “The Skinny on Skin” will feature a panel discussion with some of the area’s Board Certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons including Stefan Chevalier, D.O., Mario Loomis, M.D., Francis Winski, Jr., M.D. and Steven Wolinsky, M.D. who will discuss the latest trends in skin treatments and cosmetic surgery. Beth Quinn, an award-winning writer and former health columnist for the Times Herald-Record, will moderate the event. The $60 ticket price will include wine, dinner and dessert, the presentation and a silent auction, where attendees will be able to bid on a variety of “experiences” - everything from a ride in a bi-plane or glider, to dance lessons at La Montiel Studio, from a complete eyewear makeover from Riehle Opticians to box seats at Bethel Woods for the Boston Pops, to name just a few. Ulta will be on hand to conduct make-up and hair demonstrations, the Elements Spa at Minerals will offer skin treatments and other services, Isagenix will showcase its IsaDerm line of skin products and Healthy Thymes will present vitamins to get skin glowing. All of the money raised at this event will be added to the more than $57,000 raised thus far as a result of the Woman’s Journey series that will now be directed to spruce up the resident bedrooms at Mount Alverno.
