Everyday heroes at burke

John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen sponsored a successful blood drive before the holidays. Seniors Jordan Gailie and Marissa Hernandez assisted Kathleen Kish, Burke's school nurse, with the drive this year. Students, parents, coaches, and faculty became “everyday heroes” by donating blood, including first-time donors Kathryn Hancharick, a senior from Warwick, and junior Stanley Buczek. A spring blood drive is scheduled for April.
