Doctor opens pediatric and adolescent medicine office in Warwick

Warwick - Dr. Edward F. Rossi held an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony at his new practice at 104 Main St., next to the Post Office in the Village of Warwick, on March 7. Rossi, who describes himself as “Your Hometown Pediatrician,” has been a Warwick resident for 11 years. “After working for 20 years as a pediatrician in Manhattan,” he said, “I wanted to find a way to provide the same quality of care that I offer at my New York City office for patients in my own hometown of Warwick.” Trained at New York University, where he was subsequently appointed chief resident, Rossi is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and was voted one of “Best Doctors in America.” Dr. Ed, as his patients call him, believed there is a real need for old-fashioned medical care, where house calls are not a thing of the past. His Warwick office will offer extended evening hours Monday through Friday and will have hours all day on Saturday and Sunday. “We understand,” said Dr. Rossi, “that with today’s busy schedules, many parents need to have availability to medical care for their children after work. We also know that children get sick on evenings and weekends and we want to be available to care for them.” All records at Rossi’s office are saved with electronic medical record keeping.
