Graduations Paul C. Baresel of Greenwood Lake graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse with a bachelor of science degree in medical biotechnology. He is the 2010 recipient of the Dean’s Outstanding Student Award for the Medical Biotechnology Program. He plans to pursue post-graduate study in health science and research. He is the son of Paul and Susan Baresel of Greenwood Lake. Colleen Cameron of Florida, N.Y., was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Sacred Heart University during commencement activities last month in Fairfield, Conn. She also had been named to the university’s dean’s list for the spring 2010 semester. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale. Former Warwick resident Linnea Theisen has graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Tuskegee, Ala. A 1998 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, she received her bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Theisen is the daughter of Louise and Peter Theisen of New Bern, N.C., also formerly of Warwick. The following local residents were among the 946 students who graduated from the University of Scranton during commencement ceremonies on May 30: Kyle E.
