Warwick Valley Telephone announces Telephone Directory Cover contest winners

Warwick Valley Telephone (WVT) has just announced the winners of the 2020-21 WVT Directory Cover competition.
This will be the company’s 41st book to feature landscapes from its serving area produced by local artists and photographers.
Showcasing local talent and the scenery from WVT’s serving area has been a tradition since 1980.
First
The first-place winner, whose photo titled “Farm Portraits,” will grace the cover of the new directory is Angelo Marcialis, a retired music teacher and musician who has turned his creativity toward photography.
In just a few short years, Marcialis’ photographs have been featured on various websites, social media platforms, magazines, travel guides, newspapers and newsletters. He explained that it’s his artistic vision, first through music and now photography, to bring and share light to the world.
Second
Second place was awarded to Renelle Lorray for her picture titled “A Head Above the Rest." Since 2012 Lorray’s images have been on the WVT cover three times. And she has a sizable collection of images including abstracts, flora and fauna, scenery, reflections, close-ups, candid portraits and panoramas, almost all taken locally.
Lorray is a member of multiple art councils and leagues and has won numerous awards for her photography.
Third
The third-place winner was Toni Vogel for her photo, “New Life on the Farm.”
Vogel is an accomplished realtor and photographer.
Her love for Warwick and the surrounding towns has moved her to also take interest in photographing the abundant beautiful landscapes and nature in the area. And work has been published several times in local media.
