Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce schedules lakeside mixer at Cove Castle

GREENWOOD LAKE. Socialize with business professionals in a casual lakeside setting on Aug. 28.

It's one of the most picturesque spots on Greenwood Lake.

Next Wednesday, Aug. 28, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce invites you to their summer season kick-off social event at the lakefront property of Cove Castle, at 13 Castle Court in Greenwood Lake, for an after-hours business mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Chamber committee suggests you pack plenty of business cards and be prepared to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals in a casual lakeside setting.

Guests will enter through the dramatic wood and wrought iron gates to an impressionable view of the great lawn overlooking majestic Greenwood Lake.

Then enjoy complimentary specialty appetizer selections prepared by Castle Cove's corporate chef, James Hill.

And each guest will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.

"We at Cove Castle are excited to host the Chamber's Mixer," said Owner Bob Pereira. "We are looking forward to spending time with fellow members and friends and enjoying an evening of networking and socializing on our waterfront property while enjoying breathtaking views of Greenwood Lake."

Cove Castle, a year round destination restaurant and event space, lends itself to comfortable indoor/outdoor seating while serving up New American cuisine, Wednesday through Sunday.

The Cove offers live music Thursday to Saturday and during their Sunday brunch.

And there is lobster night on Wednesdays.

Coming this September, in collaboration with Greenwood Lake Marina, patrons will also be able to enjoy a one-hour history tour in a new 20-passenger boat. V

An elegant private event space located above the restaurant and boasting an outdoor deck, private beach and three-terrace lawn is available for private and corporate events, weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties and more.

Cost is $10 for members and their guests and $20 for non-members.
