Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce prepares for first after hour mixer of the New Year
Warwick. Enjoy Holidays from Yesterday exhibit, music and refreshments at AW Buckbee Center.
You’re invited to step back in time.
The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold an after-hours business mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Jan. 22, at the Warwick Historical Society’s A.W. Buckbee Center located at 2 Colonial Ave.
"We are excited to welcome the Warwick Valley Chamber to the A.W. Buckbee Center for the first after-hours Chamber Mixer of the year, and in time for a last look at the Holidays from Yesterday exhibit currently on display,” said Nora Gurvich, executive director of the Warwick Historical Society. “Our members have worked hard to showcase life during the winter of 1863, and the effect the Civil War had on local families; It's a really beautiful and moving exhibit."
The Chamber’s Programs Chair Janine Dethmers suggests guests pack plenty of business cards and be prepared to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the Hudson Valley.
“The halls of The A.W. Buckbee Center,” she said, “will be ringing with musical entertainment featuring the popular rock duo Jeanie Cassels and John (Johnny D.) DiSibia of Strings Attached. And enjoy a complimentary selection of savory hors d’oeuvres prepared by Historical Society members, paired with wine.”
