Vogel & Moore Insurance celebrates 40th anniversary

On Thursday, July 30, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Vogel & Moore Insurance owner Ann Marie Moore, her mother and founder Ann Vogel and staff for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the firm.

Ann Vogel, owner and founder of Ann Vogel Insurance, started her career in the insurance industry in 1979 as a Nationwide agent in a home-based office.

She had a love for the insurance business and helping people since she worked as a parttimer in her earlier years. Vogel earned Nationwide's top awards, including six President's Conferences, twelve Champion Conference trips and numerous Life Sales Awards.

And Warwick Nationwide Insurance was voted the number one agency in New York State in an Auto Sales Conference.

In 2005 the torch was passed to her daughter Ann Marie Moore, who took the business to even higher levels of success including opening another agency in Lords Valley, Pennsylvania.

And her daughter Debbie Boulanger and her husband, Matt, manage that business. Another daughter Tara Petzold also works at the Warwick office and assists with all the modern technology to keep the business up with the times.

Vogel & Moore, 13 Wheeler Ave., offers home, auto, business, umbrella, life and financial, farm and even pet insurance.

And with an open door policy, Moore welcomes clients into her office to assist in any and all of their insurance needs.
