Santa drops in on Schervier Pavilion for holiday celebration for residents and their families

It was a joyful afternoon at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Santa, played by Schervier Pavilion resident Luis Vega, paid an early visit that day and spent several hours posing for photographs with other residents and their families along with his merry “Ho, Ho, Ho!”
Members of the Warwick Valley Middle School Orchestra provided musical entertainment for the afternoon and Schervier Pavilion staff prepared a table of holiday treats, cookies, punch and other refreshments.
“We hosted this and other events to give our residents and their families an opportunity to share a holiday tradition,” said Schervier Pavilion Director of Recreation Kari Call. “We’re happy that our residents were able to enjoy this visit by Santa and our celebration with their families.”
