New consignment shop opens

Pine Island. Over The Moon Consignments and Treasures recently celebrated its grand opening.

On Tuesday, August 13 the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of Over The Moon Consignments and Treasures.

The business, located at 792 County Route 1 in Pine Island, is owned by Erika Liggio. The business boasts consignments and treasures “for the whole family.” Items include clothing for children and adults, housewares, toys, furniture, jewelry, antiques, and more. The store will also take in select items from customers to consign, depending on their condition.

The opening celebration included Orange County Legislator Paul Ruszkiewicz, NYS Senator James Skoufis’ representative Liz Miller, Orange County Chamber membership manager Frank Marino and membership coordinator Nancy Braidt, Pine Island Chamber of Commerce and Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce board member John Redman, Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stefanie Keegan, President Kim Corkum and board member Kristen DeRosso-Dawson.
