On Nov. 11, Amy Smith and Lorraine Steadman of Orange County Motorsports Entertainment (OCME) presented a check for $4,000, the proceeds from the Bobby Collins Comedy Show fundraiser, to Suzyn Barron, president of the Warwick Valley Humane Society.
WTBQ sponsored the show and 500 tickets were sold.
Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus also came to celebrate the presentation of the funds, which will add to the Warwick Valley Humane Society Shelter Building Campaign for a new shelter to house formerly abused, abandoned and neglected animals that Barron, her staff and volunteers care for every day.
