Business association provides hot tips on networking skills

HIGHLAND-The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley will hold its September meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Casa Mia Restaurant, Route 9W, Highland. The guest speaker will be motivational speaker, trainer, performance coach and talk radio personality Frank J. De Raffele, Jr. De Raffele is founder and CEO of the ProActive Leadership Center, as well as co-author of "Successful Business Networking" and contributor to "The Masters of Networking." He will discuss the networking techniques of Fortune 500 companies. The fee is $25 for members, $45 for non-members, and $15 for students with a school ID. The marketing association holds monthly meetings, with topics varying from networking to guerilla marketing to video production for clients to insights into the printing industry.
