Berkowitz joins Community Foundation

Warwick resident Jack Berkowitz, president of Jack Berkowitz, CPA, was recently appointed as a board member of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan. He has a public accounting practice and is a sole-practitioner specializing in accountancy and taxation for small businesses and start-up companies and high net-worth individuals. Presently, he serves as first vice-president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County, first vice-president of Temple Sinai in Middletown and on many other area community organizations. He joins Philip Guarnieri, of Staten Island, N.Y., president and COO of Empire State Bank, NA, as the foundation’s two newest board members.
