April 15 is last day to file for Florida library trustee race

FLORIDA-The Florida Public Library will have two board of trustee seats up for election at the annual May 17 vote. Both seats are for full five-year terms and run from July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2010. The seats are currently held by incumbents Marie Pillmeier and Shirley Coughlin. Interested candidates must live in the Florida Union Free School District and be 18 years of age. Petitions to get on the ballot are available at the school district office or the library. Completed petitions must be returned to the school office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15.
