Photos by Robert Breese Warwick - This barn along Union Corners Road in Warwick is being dismantled beam by hand-hewn beam. The front of the barn still displays the gray faded name of Sunny Acres Farm. It is an unusual opportunity to see the anatomy of an old 19th century dairy barn. Many old barns are lost during the winter months when they collapse under the weight of heavy snow. This barn has a second chance at life. The timber will be stored away and hopefully sold to be reconstructed on another farm with sunny acres.
