Actor Stephen Baldwin hosts reception for Annie Rabbitt
WARWICK - Hollywood actor, producer and director Stephen Baldwin hosted a cocktail reception at Halligan’s Public House in Warwick for state Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt on Aug. 9. Baldwin, a resident of Nyack, became a strong supporter of the Republican assemblywoman after he attended a local civic meeting where she was the guest speaker. The youngest of the four Baldwin brothers, Stephen Baldwin has been acting since 1987 and has credits in nearly 70 television shows and films, including the 1995 movie, “The Usual Suspects,” with Kevin Spacey. Rabbitt, a former Warwick Town council member as well as a former trustee in the Village of Greenwood Lake, was elected in the 97th Assembly District in November 2004 and represents 125,000 people in seven towns and 18 villages in Orange and Rockland counties. She is running for re-election this November. She is the ranking minority member on the Assembly Local Government Committee and serves on the Aging and Consumer Protection and Affairs committees. She and her husband, Robert Jr., a police officer, reside in Greenwood Lake. They have two college-age children, Robert III and Erin.
