24 SUNY schools called 'military friendly'

ALBANY Two dozen schools in the State University of New York system have been called "military friendly" by a national publication. The 2012 Military Friendly Schools List from G.I. Jobs Magazine cites the University at Albany, Alfred State College, Binghamton University, The College at Brockport, Buffalo State College, SUNY Canton, SUNY Delhi, Empire State College, Farmingdale State College, Maritime College, SUNY Old Westbury and Stony Brook University. The community colleges cited by the magazine for people transitioning from military to civilian life were: Broome, Clinton, Columbia-Greene, Hudson Valley, Jamestown, Jefferson, Mohawk Valley, Monroe, Niagara, North Country, Onondaga and Ulster.
