Patricia Ann “Patti” Maddalena of Warwick passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 61 years old.
Born on Feb. 12, 1955, in Franklin Square on Long Island, she was the daughter of Calvin Gleckler and Patricia (Conlin) Gleckler.
She was married for 38 years to Edward Maddalena.
Patti was employed for 20 years by the Town of Warwick as a court clerk. She was formerly a Village of Warwick Court clerk, former treasurer of the Orange County Magistrates Association, and former treasurer for the 911 Memorial committee in Warwick. She was a member of St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Warwick and she loved to garden.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; her father Calvin Gleckler of Old Bethpage; her seven siblings: Eileen Walsh of Massapequa Park, Sharon Pasatieri of West Chester, Pa., John Gleckler of Wilton, Conn., William Gleckler of Farmingdale, Thomas Gleckler of Baldwin, Richard Gleckler of Sea Cliff and Carleen Payne of Glenmore, Pa.
Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Stephen's Church, followed by private cremation.
